Whitewater enthusiasts from around the country converge on Buena Vista every summer for PADDLEFEST, sponsored by Colorado Kayak Supply (CKS) located in downtown Buena Vista. This year it falls on Memorial Day weekend and as usual there are water sports for all ages, and it officially kicks off the rafting and kayaking season in the Arkansas River Valley.
